vEda vaaNee Release Function

Harih OM! One of the goals of the Veda Samskruti Samiti (VSS), Hyderabad, is to initiate a journal with the aim to propagate the Sanatana Dharma. In this process, the Executive Committee of the VSS started an electronic journal under the title, ‘vEda vaaNee’.

On the Vaisakha Suddha Panchami day (April 25, 2023), Jagadguru Sri Adi Sankaracharya Jayanti day, the electronic journal ‘vEda vaaNee’, Volume 1, Issue 1, April 2023 was released in a function by Jagadguru Sri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamigal, the 70th Jagadguru Peethadipathi of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham, Kanchipuram, in the Mahati Auditorium, Tirupathi. The VSS Founder and President Sri A.H. Prabhakara Rao attended the function and obtained blessings from Jagadguru Sri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamigal for the journal. Prof. G S R Krishna Murty, Vice-Chancellor, National Sanskrit University (NSU), Tirupathi, and Sri Challa Viswanatha Sastry and others were among the prominent scholars graced the journal release function.

The journal ‘vEda vaaNee’ is going to be published quarterly. This journal is open to all bonafide scholars in Vedas, Vedangas, Vedantic, Sanskrit and other allied subjects of Sanatana Dharma. The journal is intended to publish articles, reviews, and news including conferences, details, proceedings, meetings, PhD projects of students and others. For more details, visit the VSS Website
