Dr. Babu has multi-disciplinary experience –
- He is the Founder and Vice President of Veda Samskruti Samiti (VSS)
- He worked as Senior Faculty member in various Educational Institutions for over 12 years.
- He retired in the rank of a Lt Colonel from The Indian Army after serving the country for 23 years (1974-1997) as commissioned officer, and worked as Associate Professor in Military College Telecom Engineering, MHOW. (1993-1995)
- Research Scientist experience in DRDO DLRL labs. 1995-97
- Senior Management Executive in IT industry in Tech Mahindra and Blue Star Infotech Limited for 12 Years (1997-2010)
- Senior Faculty Member in the position of a Professor and Dean of Academics in St. Martin’s Engineering College., Hyderabad (2016 – 2020)
- Senior Faculty Member in the position of a Professor and HoD in CSE Department in Malla Reddy Institute of Technology and Science and Progressive Engineering College (2010 – 2013)
- Senior Faculty in Spiritual Education in Veda Samskruti Samiti conducting the Certificate Courses on Sanaatana Dharma and Yoga at various levels (2020 – till date)
He has research experience on two mega defence projects –
- Project Samyukta in DLRL, DRDO
- Project ASCON in Defence forces.
Dr. Babu’s teaching and research interests include Speech processing, Information Security, ComputerNetworks, Telecom and Electronic Warfare and Sanaatana Dharma and Vedic Sciences
He is a Fellow of Institute of Electronics and Telecom Engineers (IETE).
He received many awards. Recent awards include the following – Inimitable presenter teacher award 2018 and Best Dean award in 2018, “The Chieftains” award in 2019, best paper awards and many commendation cards.
He has published 19 research publications in various National and Inter-national conference proceedings and reputed Journals. Published two Book Chapters and published a patent.
He visited many foreign countries like UK, USA, Dubai, Singapore, Malaysia, Honkong.and presented his research work in various national and International forums.
He published his work in two books Chapters
